RESTORATION OF PREHISTORIC ANIMALS

Paleoart is defined as the discipline that allows to reconstruct extinct organisms and disappeared environments, through the use of techniques such as illustration, graphic design, sculpture and animation. To achieve a coherent approximation between the artistic restoration and the reality it is intended to recreate, the paleoartist must draw on the biological, ecological, geological and paleontological information available from the fossil record, as well as anatomical descriptions, scientific publications and the opinion that experts can offer.
